Doom on PSX

My first contact with doom was on Playstation 1. My brother bought it in 1996. Then I started playing. I have loved the game since first time I tried it. I liked Doom so much that I used to play 2 or 3 hours every day. My brother, his friends and I played some LAN parties too, which was more interesting than games in solo.

In 1998 (or 1999, I don't remember), I have been offered Final Doom for Xmas. I was very happy. It was a bit more beautiful than Doom2 : textures more smooth, new SSG sprite... I spent less time playing on final doom than on doom2, and when Playstation 2 has arrived, I gradually stopped playing.

Doom and Zdoom

I got my PC in 2003 for Xmas. But I've only managed to get doom2 running on it some months later. I started playing with Zdoom. I was very surprised, because I didn't think at all there existed a Doom version for computers. I immediately appreciated the game : the mouse made the things easier, the jump and the freelook too.
